Impact indicators
  • During the 2012-13 academic year, eMSS had almost 700 new teachers in 50 states and approximately 70,000 students. Throughout its existence, over 4,000 teachers have participated in the programme.

  • The New Teacher Center impact evaluation system also assesses the impact of its programmes based on new teacher retention (avoiding abandonment of the profession with the consequent cost and loss of professional talent), improving teaching practice and student performance.
