Series of policies to address Indigenous Australian disadvantage and achieve population parity through the provision of employment opportunities so that Indigenous Australians can build careers and succeed both academically and professionally. 

Impact indicators
  • Since 2010, the Indigenous workforce has grown from 21 to 60 positions.
  • Employment policies have, for example, transformed the University into an educational destination point for Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians, helped built relationships and reconciliation, enabled Indigenous perspectives to inform innovation and research, built cultural competence among non-Indigenous Australians on campus.
