A network of differentiated waste collection centres and at the same time treatment plants. Each centre is a platform open to the public to convert them into aware consumers. The model also includes recyclers who can earn a living in more stable conditions.
- Since 2009 they have installed 56 Green Points in Chile, 13 of them with a model of social inclusion where staff are ex street recyclers or vulnerable people in the community.
- They employ 95 people, of which 25 are part of the social inclusion programme.
- WIth this network they have recycled more than 3,600 tonnes of waste and received more than 20,000 visits every month.
- The model is also applied in one of the main prisons in Santiago de Chile, the first to implement recycling with the inmates.
