Comprehensive support for disadvantaged young people to help them complete their studies and continue their education beyond secondary school. Works in partnership with schools in low-income areas and with full-time staff providing advice and guidance to young people after school and in the summer. The key is that they are people with similar backgrounds and experiences to students.

  • 90% percent of its beneficiaries graduate from secondary school and 86% of these graduates enrol in university education.
  • During the year it conducts surveys on the change in students’ attitudes, the results of which indicate that students served by UpLift are able to apply the concepts they have learned in class to real-life situations and decisions.
  • 500 secondary school students teach and guide children in primary school, providing about 1,000 hours of community service.
