  • Its programmes are extensive, such as the WISE Vehicle Programme, aimed at providing technological activities for girls aged 13-14 years. From 1983 to 2004, 370,000 girls participated in this programme; 4,500 school visits were made in England, Scotland and Wales; £2.5 million were raised through 100 sponsorship deals.
  • According to data from 2009, the WISE campaign had helped to double the percentage of female engineering graduates from 7% in 1984 to 15% in 2009.
