A for-profit organisation that provides vocational training and coaching to unemployed youth and offers them internship opportunities in the company, currently operating 17 business areas in the fields of production, services and sales. The aim is to equip young people without work experience with the relevant skills to pursue training itineraries and access the labour market.
Impact indicators
Outputs:
- Every year, the programme offers 300 internships.
- In total, over 2,500 youth have undertaken a Job Factory internship.
Impacts:
- 80% of the young people complete six-month trainings at Jobfactory.
- 90% of the trainees who successfully complete the internship find stable employment or an apprenticeship position.
Implementation progress
In 2017, the initiative was presented in Athens and Barcelona within the framework of the Accelerating Change for Social Inclusion (ACSI) project to explore its local implementation.
