Farming systems to produce fresh foods in safe and healthy environments in the city, taking advantage of roof surfaces. The proximity of these urban farming products reduce emissions and transportation costs, while converting underused spaces into business opportunities.
Impact indicators
At the beginning of 2013, both the fish and the vegetables and herbs produced in these farms were already being used by five local restaurants receiving deliveries by bicycle.
